We seek to hire interns who work well in a team-driven working group, are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavours.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Perform market and technology research on technology-based solutions, including carbon removals, low-carbon materials, and low-carbon fuels sectors.
  • Support the evaluation of investment opportunities
    • Financial modelling, valuation analyses, and sensitivity & scenario analyses
    • Collaborate internally to build investment theses and prepare investment memorandums
    • Prepare written analyses, evaluations, and presentations of investment opportunities for use by senior management and review by the Investment Committee and the Board

Experience and Qualifications

  • Undergraduates preferably with both STEM background (e.g. Chemical Engineering) and financial modelling skills
  • Relevant experience or interest in topics relating to carbon removals, low-carbon materials, and low-carbon fuels
  • Analytical problem-solver with attention to details
  • Strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • High level of professionalism and personal integrity
  • Prior internship with experience in private equity sell-side or buyside will be viewed favourably
