We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our finance team in a newly created role. You will support the management of the company's financial resources, operations, reporting, tax, and portfolio activities, working closely with the Finance VP, internal teams, and external parties.

Responsibilities

  • Review management accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Assist with investment, capital, and budget monitoring activities
  • Support KYC/AML compliance requirements and related documentation
  • Manage GST filings and income tax computations, including ECI and final tax submissions
  • Work on quarterly reporting processes, including fee calculations, consolidation, and preparation of Reporting Packs for internal and/or external stakeholders
  • Support year-end closing processes and coordinate the annual statutory audit
  • Prepare Financial Statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline, automate, and enhance financial workflows and reporting
  • Provide support on broader finance, tax, and ad hoc requirements as they arise

Experience & Qualifications

Required

  • 4–6 years of relevant experience within the finance function of a private equity, venture capital, investment management, or equivalent firm, including a minimum of 3 years in Big 4 audit
  • Demonstrated experience across the full spectrum of finance operations, including coordination with auditors, tax agents, external consultants, and internal stakeholders
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS, consolidation, and investment transaction assessment
  • Experience in portfolio monitoring and valuation
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional qualification; degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a reputable institution
Skills & Attributes
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong analytical mindset
  • Proactive self-starter who takes initiative and demonstrates clear ownership of responsibilities
  • Ability to contextualise day-to-day tasks within the broader strategic objectives of the firm
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; competent across the broader MS Office suite
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
  • High degree of professionalism and personal integrity
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills

Preferred

  • Hands-on experience with process automation, including development of templates, financial dashboards, or workflow tools
  • Familiarity with iLevel or comparable portfolio management and reporting platforms
